Stand With Ukraine Japan (一般社団法人Stand With Ukraine Japan, corporate number 9011005009694) is a general incorporated association registered in Japan. Our address is Tokyo-to, Meguro-ku, Meguro 2-11-3. You can reach us at standwithukrainejp@gmail.com.
Our site does not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers, or any other tracking technology. We do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not sell or share visitor information. Like almost every website, our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs — such as IP address and pages requested — for security and to prevent abuse. We do not use these logs to identify individuals.
To process your donation we need your name, your email address, the amount, and the date. We may also ask for a postal address if you want a receipt by post.
We never see or store your card number. Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe, our payment provider. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never reach our systems. Stripe's own privacy policy explains how they handle that data: https://stripe.com/privacy
If you donate by bank transfer, your bank and ours process the transfer under their own rules.
We keep your message and your email address so we can reply and so we have a record of the conversation.
We share personal information only with Stripe (to process card payments), our bank (for bank transfers), our accountant or auditor (where needed to prepare our financial statements), and public authorities (where the law requires it).
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share it for advertising, and we do not send marketing email to donors.
Stripe is based in the United States, so when you donate by card your information is transferred outside Japan. We also use Google's email services, which stores messages on Google's servers. Both companies maintain safeguards for international data transfers. By donating, you understand that your information will be handled this way.
We keep donation and accounting records for as long as Japanese tax and accounting law requires. We keep general email only as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry.
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct anything that is wrong, to delete it where we are not required by law to keep it, or to stop using it for a particular purpose. Email standwithukrainejp@gmail.com and we will respond. If we cannot do what you ask — usually because we are legally required to keep a record — we will tell you why.
We keep personal information on accounts protected by passwords and two-factor authentication, and we limit access to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will remove it.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Significant changes will be noted on our website.
